Atheism was official state "religion" in former communist Soviet Union

Forcing any way of life or belief is going to lead to failure. No one can be "forced" to think something.

Thank you.

The "religion" being forced is irrelevant. Force anything, especially what to think, and you're destined for failure.

I'm going to suppose this was a subtle attack on atheism? Guess that failed too.

"Atheism" Can Be Enforced, Just Like Other Religions

I think his point is that a lack of belief in God can just as easily be forced upon people as forcing people to believe in God. "Atheism," is not neutral, and I would say that it is being forced and has been forced on Americans for quite some time now. Every time prayer and Bible reading is taken out of the public arena, that is the enforcement of "Atheism." Every time a school is sued for teaching that God created the universe, that is enforcing "Atheism." The removal of God is just the implementation of another god, which would be man, in the case of "Atheism."

The removal of God is not the implementation of another God. That's silly. When you leave the house, you aren't replaced by someone else while you are away.

Removal =! Replacement.

And American neutrality isn't forcing atheism on anyone. It's simply offering equal opportunity to all religions while preventing a single dominant religion from being imposed on all.

Exactly. The atheistic foundation which is in class warfare and Marxism.

Is it truly neutrality when atheists sue to remove a medal beam shaped like a cross at a memorial for victims of 9/11 or is it something else?

Removing God is Not an Act of Neutrality

Sure it is. From the worldview of Christianity, God is sovereign over all things, which means there isn't a realm of humanity that God does not have authority over by governance of His word. When "atheists" remove God from the realm of civil government, they instinctively replace it with a humanistic perspective of what civil government ought to be (which is why our current government acts like God, trying to control every aspect of individuals' private lives).

There is no such thing as "American neutrality." None of our founding documents begin on a neutral ground. They all assume or state that God has something to do with our rights and the form of government instituted. Neutrality is a myth, for when "atheists" remove any mentioning of God, they are in essence saying that God has no jurisdiction over a particular institution, group, or location. In effect, they are making man the final arbiter of truth and power.
