Robinson says 2010 lessons make him stronger in 2012
NORTH BEND, Ore.-- Republican Congressional Candidate Art Robinson brought his campaign to the North Bend Community Center Thursday night.
The event hosted by Americans For Prosperity was a barbeque dinner followed by campaign speeches from Robinson and other local conservatives encourgaing people to do more than just vote.
Robinson will face-off against Incumbent Congressman Peter Defazion (D) in the fall. The 2012 race is shaping up to be a rematch of the 2010 Congressional election in which the two men duked it out two years ago.
Robinson told KCBY Thursday night that the lessons he learned in 2010 make his campaign this year better than before.
"I think we learned a lot more about how to communicate with the voters because we were amatures and I'm a scientist and I hadn't been in politics before," Robinson said. "It's all a question of educating the voter. Because they must decide between the candidates."
