At this point, most of the ballots have been counted and although we have done very well, we are behind. There are still, however, a lot of ballots to count and we will see how it looks in the morning. It could turn around, but that looks unlikely, although many of the uncounted ballots may come from rural areas that would favor us.
Either way, my Dad WILL be running again two years from now. We have made a tremendous amount of progress and if we all keep working - starting now - we will have a MUCH better chance then. Remember that as a result of DeFazio's behaviour during this election, almost half the voters now know that he is completely dishonest - especially when he gets desperate. We will be getting back to you about this in more detail soon.
Please keep your signs! We will need them again! If you don't have a place to store them, let us know and we will store them for you. Also, if you distributed signs to your friends and neighbors which you have to pick up, be sure to keep track of the addresses for us (we would appreciate getting the list from you). It will give us a head start on good locations next time.
