Anyone canvassing in Michigan?

I've yet to be contacted by the campaign and am going to start doing things on my own. What materials are you using and what's working for people out there? I am thinking of getting printouts of the comparison sheet posted here. I'm on a shoestring budget, but any advise is defiantly welcome.

If you look at the grassroots central for Michigan, there's a whole volunteer manual PDF that you can download and read - very helpful. You should also be able to contact your district coordinator to go out canvassing with you the first time. Also, you might want to look at the Michigan events page - there are a lot of group canvassing opportunities in different locations listed there.

I did some canvassing yesterday and getting ready to go out again right now. Very rural area though, but the response has been mostly positive!

Michiganders, don't forget to file with your county clerk to run for precinct delegates by May 15th.
