Jeff Merkley is up in 2014, and his poll numbers are middling. It's not as if he is a prime target, but I think we could make the race competitive. Former Senator Gordon Smith (Whom Merkley defeated in 2008), has been bandied about as a potential candidate, but he seems pretty bad besides his stance on the Iraq War. I actually admire the senior senator from Oregon, Ron Wyden, who I think is a valuable ally for Rand, but Merkley doesn't seem to have much to like. Sooooo, Oregonians, who ya got?
