Dear fellow Paul supporters.
Though we are all very involved in supporting our political hero, I am also working hard to help another liberty minded Dr. Paul supporter win us another seat in the house of representatives. Mrs. Jacqueline Smith of Coalville, Utah has decided to run for the first congressional district of Utah. Mrs. Smith decided to run after the incumbent Rob Bishop voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act. Her courage to take on someone so well entrenched in the system is admirable in itself, but to do so in a state that still believes supporting it’s troops means sending them better equipment, makes it even more challenging. You see, Mrs. Smith echoes Dr. Paul’s cry to support our troops by really listening to them and bringing them home to their families.
Her guiding philosophy would be:
Every bill needs to have 3 questions asked before a vote.
1. Does this bill increase liberty or decrease liberty?
2. Does this bill grow government or shrink government?
Is this bill Constitutional and part of the proper role of government?
I know many if not most of us are already giving all we can to put our hero in the White House, but if you could at the minimum, just go to her web site and click the Facebook like link, that would be helpful. Of course if you would like to help out in other ways, she would be very appreciative. Volunteers and financial donations are obviously welcome and needed.
