After racist emails about Obama leaked, Sony Pics Amy Pascal calls Jackson, Sharpton to "heal"

On a related note, turns out SPE CEO is a mega donor of disgraced SWC.

Obama Is Pals With Sony Executive He Said Never Called

Dec 23, 2014 1:35 PM EST
Sony Pictures CEO Michael Lynton is one of the president's most reliable campaign donors, but the relationship is deeper than that: He and his wife, Jamie Alter Lynton, have visited the White House a dozen times and even vacationed with the Obamas. And Sony Pictures is well-connected in Washington in its own right, spending half a million dollars a year on lobbying in addition to its influence through the heavy-hitting Motion Picture Association of America.

So they donate to Obama, vacation with him, but privately still view him as a n***er. Sounds about par for the course in Hollywood.

There is so much b-chit in this entire Sony story. Just sounds like a typical mafia style shake down to me. The fun is blaming it on North Korea, lmao. I think only two people even have internet service in NK.

According to defectors, the DPRK has large squadrons of cyber-warriors. Every luxury available to the west is accessible to those who have connections to the plundering state class.

Shouldn't she be calling O instead of Jesse Jackson?

Shouldn't she be saying "who gives a shit what I wrote in private email which is nobody's business but mine"?

Shouldn't she be saying "I don't give a shit what anyone thinks of my opinions of BHOBHO"?

Amy Pascal is in crisis mode following the leak of racially charged emails between herself and producer Scott Rudin in which they mocked President Obama.

A few observations. For one thing, Amy and company are blithering idiots for using email of any sort as a medium to convey such communications. She is a coward for backing away from what is undoubtedly her truer feelings about BHOBHO. Chances are fair to middling she will be forced to resign over this for the sake of corporate survival. After all, Sony cannot allow stand the perception that they are tolerant of this sort of thing and in the current environment of racial tension I doubt there will be any forgiveness forthcoming by certain subsets of those of a darker persuasion. Therefore, if Amy is likely out, she should at least show some personal integrity and courage by refraining from such simpering. She probably has enough assets to keep her financially secured for several lifetimes to come, so why embarrass herself with unconvincingly thin feigns of contrition? And really - appealing to the likes of Jackson and Sharpton? Are you fracking kidding? This is a highly placed executive in one of the largest corporations on the planet? Really? How do these corporations continue to operate, much less prosper? Must be that despite the fitful levels of stupidity at their helms, the levels of stupidity of the average man is so much the greater.

Instead of whipering and scrambling in a desperate effort to save a career that is almost certainly lost, I would be putting out a contract on the people who hacked my systems @ $1MM/head with the condition that each guilty party be flayed alive, on video, as proof of satisfaction.

“And I want to accept responsibility for these stupid, callous honest remarks.”

Fixed that for the poor girl.

Stupidity and bottomless cowardice. Honest to God, I never could conceive how this combination would prove the guaranteed formula for towering success. And yet, it is.

More importantly, even if she is a hypocrite that is no reason for her to get fired. Mel Gibson shouldn't have been boycotted for a drunken rant or a private conversation (however repugnant), and this woman shouldn't be fired for a totally innocuous joke. The PC "Civil Rights" pressure groups have cost enough deserving people their jobs, enough is enough.

If she is willing to publicly apologize to Gibson, I'll be willing to forgive her. And I don't buy in to this PC "Civil Rights" BS at all. But this woman does buy in to that crap. And by her own standard that she publicly defended in the past, she deserves to be fired. I don't think Pascal is anti-black any more than I think Gibson is anti-Jewish, but this is the Elliot Spitzer thing all over again. If you advocate this kind of BS, you better damn well apply it to yourself when you get busted. That is the only way these Authoritarian Goons are going to rethink their positions. You can't argue intellectually with them. They are so self obsessed that the possibility of being hoisted by their own petard is the only thing that will get their attention.

Perhaps highlighting makes clear to you the somewhat violent clash here? Since when have people of this ilk applied their haughtily broadcast proclamations to themselves? Never? Correct! How is it then that they would be self-impelled to rethink anything?

They need to be held at the end of the sword. The immediacy of potentials usually brings them around with some dispatch. Of course, I personally have no problem placing such people on the ends of ropes in public places, and do firmly believe that not only do they deserve such ends, but that it does indeed serve as a deterrent. Such people will always find for themselves some sort of fiefdom among smaller colonies of the willing, but why enable them to expand their patty tyrannies to those who wish not to subscribe? I say hang them from their necks until dead when they tread beyond the mete of consent.

Oh, what a land this would be if people truly respected the lives and properties of their fellows.

That was just sarcasm, I couldn't care less if professional 'civil righter'/swc apologist Al Sharpton manages to get Amy Pascal kicked to the curb. AP is a lowly intrument of racist fascism imo because she supports US funded oppression in middle east and a glaring hypocrite.

This is welll said:

Sony exec Amy Pascal exiled Mel Gibson
Sony co chairman Amy Pascal was one of the first Hollywood executives to exile Mel Gibson after news of his drunken anti-Semitic rant became public in 2006.
The rest of Hollywood soon followed. Mel Gibson, one of Hollywood's most bankable stars, who also happened to be an Oscar winning director, was ruined. And for the last eight years (there was another incident in 2010) Gibson has remained ruined.

What goes around comes around. The same people who hung Mel Gibson out to dry are now being exposed as the biggest racists on the planet.

But to be fair, I think anyone should be able to dislike anyone else for any reason and not be penalized for it.

This is part of having freedom, and like Ron Paul said, with freedom, you have to be willing to tolerate the nonsense.

It's not perfect, but the alternative - censorship, people losing their jobs, and being put in jail simply for expressing an opinion, is far, far worse.

They do it to cover up their own guilty consciences.
