You never see the variability and wishy-washy-ness, nor the bizarre candidates polling high (Ben Carson??? Trump??? Carly??? WTF). At least with Democrats they at least have a bit more civilized and reasonable candidates on their list, which I don't agree.

Apart from maybe Webb, there is not a single civilized person running in the Democratic Party, end of story, and I'm not even sure about Webb.

LOL, you think Hillary is civilized and reasonable.

What the Democrats are offering are not as cartoonish as the Republican party. You would never see Trump or a lightweight like Carson get voted high in the polls in the Democratic race.

I'm sorry, what? Bernie Sanders is the epitome of a cartoon character, complete with the goofy sounding voice. The only thing he needs is a pair of Mickey Mouse ears and a better falsetto voice and he'll be set.

Aren't you an Obama supporter?

Jesse Jackson WON 11 primaries in 1988. That seems to refute your assertion.

You also seem to be forgetting Reverend AL.

Well that is certainly an oxymoron - savages defending Planned Parenthood are civilized.

The way I see it, Republican voters are just lost in general and looking for someone, anyone, who speaks to them. They don't know what the hell they want.

Democrats are almost always completely unified around their chosen candidates and much easier to please. All you have to do is be a socialist/progressive and you have the Democrat vote.

Take the fat, tattooed women and the homosexual men out of the democratic party,...you'd have to run Republican to get elected dog catcher.
