The 2012 Presidential election will surely rank as one of the more important elections in our nation’s history. Please work to ensure that the one candidate with the wisdom, understanding, and integrity gets the job.
There are really only two choices: Ron Paul or not Ron Paul. Whether Barack Obama on the one hand or Herman Cain, Mitt Romney, Rick Perry on the other: all are just two wings of the same bird of prey that are taking our great Republic down the tubes towards a virtual dictatorship. TSA, in case you hadn’t heard, is now conducting HIGHWAY searches without probable cause on Tennessee highways. The City of Houston, TX now has unmanned aerial drones capable of delivering video feed, tear gas, bullets, or grenades and probably more. Obamacare needs to be repealed. And much, much more.
Ron Paul is the Champion of the Constitution, the Defender of Liberty. The man with practically clairvoyant understanding of the economy and foreign policy. The man who believes in a Constitutional government, individual liberty, personal responsibility, sound currency, and a STRONG national DEFENSE. The man with so much integrity that he has NEVER voted for an unbalanced budget, has never voted to increase the powers of the Executive Branch, has never taken a government-paid tour or trip, refuses to participate in the lucrative Congressional Pension Plan, who as an Obstetrician has delivered over 4,000 babies and performed NOT ONE abortion, has never accepted federal welfare money as payment for his medical services – preferring instead to do the work for free. Lobbyists are pretty well unknown to the Paul Congressional office because they quickly learned that he cannot be bought, which has a lot to do with why even though Paul gets the LEAST news coverage despite the facts that he has the MOST donors, is 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] in fundraising, has won the most straw polls, has won more elections than anyone else in the race, and gets the vast majority of donations from our active duty military servicepersons.
Ron Paul is the FIRST politician I’ve ever campaigned for in my half-century of life and his is the first campaign I’ve ever contributed to. Why? Because I believe we have a true gem in Ron Paul, a statesman of the same cut of cloth as some of our nation’s founding fathers. The media would have you believe he is a nut and unelectable. Let’s prove them wrong.
That is why I am sending you this e-mail and why I put together the attached flyer. (Also attached is a copy of Dr Paul’s “Plan to Restore America”). The flyer is meant to be printed on both sides and you are welcome -and encouraged- to run off as many copies as you are able to distribute between now and the primaries. Feel free to e-mail it to your friends, relatives, and colleagues. Let’s get this show on the road!!!
Mitt Romney
- Mitt Romney is the founder of the infamous Romneycare, the basis for Obamacare. The two are so closely linked that in fact Romney’s advisors on Romneycare also served as advisors on Obamacare.
- Massachusetts, under the governorship of Romney, had at the time, one of the weakest rates of job growth in the nation, with only Louisiana, Michigan, and Ohio doing worse.
- Romney is a technocrat, a Big Government progressive that doesn’t have the slightest concept of our Founding Principles, personal Liberty, or personal Freedom. He’s the type who never saw a good idea without thinking a government program wouldn’t make it better.
- Romney is very much a “corporatist”, meaning that he is in favor of giving special treatment to certain large businesses, especially when they return the favor in the form of large campaign donations. He supported TARP.
- It is difficult to say whether Romney is pro-life or not since he has flip-flopped on this issue.
- Romney is clearly not supportive of gun ownership although he likes to say he is.
- Romney is in favor of mandates, at least the ones he comes up with.
- It is difficult to be sure of what you are getting if voting for Romney because he is one of those politicians who will change positions depending on the audience.
Herman Cain
I do hope you have ruled out Herman Cain as a candidate worthy of your support. It has become obvious that he is entirely unqualified, from the standpoints of economic and foreign policy understanding.
While he likes to bill himself as an outsider, he is only an outsider in the sense that he has never held elected office before. From the standpoint of his policies and positions, he is the consummate insider.
I hope, as a responsible voter, you have already researched and learned the following about him:
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
- Believes that an audit of the Federal Reserve would reveal nothing of interest. A partial audit obtained last year under the leadership of Ron Paul revealed LOTS of very interesting things!
- Supports special corporate welfare and bailouts, supported TARP (Is a corporatist).
- Endorsed Mitt Romney in the last presidential campaign and has expressed a high opinion of him. Birds of a feather…
- Was on the Board of Aquila Corporation during an Enron-type scandal in which many people lost their retirement savings.
- Completely failed to recognize the housing and financial crises. (How can he fix the problems when he didn’t know they existed??)
- Believes that “life, liberty, & the pursuit of happiness” is a phrase from the Constitution (actually from the Declaration of Independence, of course). (!?!?!?!?!)
- Believes that gun rights is a State and Local issue (that States have the right to ban guns). (!?!?!?!?!)
- Does not understand the importance of Uzbekistan (and can’t even pronounce the name).
- Does not understand what “right of return” means in the context of the Palestinian/Israel issue. (!?!?!?!?!)

(You’ll notice that I didn’t even touch on the sexual harassment charges. There is more than enough reason not to vote for the man without tossing that tidbit into the mix)
Rick Perry
- At the time of writing this, Rick Perry’s star is already fading fast, but it is probably best to include at least a little blurb about him. It was a toss-up whether Gingrich or Perry should be included in my flyer. Perry won the luck of the draw.
- Hopefully we’ve all heard about how when Perry changed from Democrat to Republican he said that the only thing that would change would be the letter after his name.
- This guy’s stint as the Governor of Texas is marked by scandal after scandal, from ethanol payoffs to contributions from Merk in exchange for total access to Texas girls and Texas taxpayers’ wallets for exclusive rights to force-vaccinate. Corporatist.
- Perry also subsidized illegal immigrants, even going so far as to offer them in-state tuition at Texas colleges.
- He pushed for a trans-Texas highway to allow Mexico to further rape the American economy of jobs.
- He endorsed pro-abortion, pro-gun control candidate Rudy Giuliani in 2007.
- Texas, under Perry’s leadership has developed one of the worst education systems in the country.
- A large chunk of the jobs created in Texas while Perry was governor were government jobs paid for with federal money.
- A large number of the remaining jobs that were created are low-paying entry level jobs.

As a man of genuine integrity, he has been married to his wife for over 50 years. As a doctor he has delivered thousands of babies, and translating his personal integrity to professional integrity, he has never taken a government paid junket and returns a portion of his congressional budget every year.
Ron Paul's knowledge of economics is unmatched among the other candidates. He has predicted that federal reserve policies would debase our currency and cause a decline in our standard of living. He predicted that a housing bubble would result from a policy of excessively low interest rates, and that would lead to an economic crash. The only candidate who can solve our economic problems is the only one who predicted them.
Ron Paul is the only candidate that calls for a constitutional foreign policy that does not weaken us economically and militarily. He will work for to bring home the troops and end national building. He will stop the trend of overextending our military and turning it into a global police force.
He enjoys the most support among the military as shown by campaign donations. He attracts voters from both political parties and especially pulls support from disillusioned Obama voters. His donations come from individuals rather than large corporations and special interests buying influence in government.
Ron Paul stands alone among the presidential candidates in fighting against government intrusions on our privacy and civil liberties. He stood up against the unconstitutional patriot act and is the only candidate we can trust to continue to defend individual liberty and the bill of rights in all cases.
It can be said no more simply than this - Dr. Ron Paul is the only candidate who will move our Republic in the right direction, a direction committed to more freedom, prosperity, and peace, and that is our best hope for the future.
