Thanks to everyone who donated to our initial $2200 tv advertising drive -- the Greater Cleveland area will now have 93 30-second tv spots on our local NBC affiliate, which reaches hundreds of thousands of households!

I just got a quote from a local cable advertising company that controls all of the major cable channels (CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox News, Headline News, ESPN, etc.), and their price is $8 per 30-second spot on any of these networks! We're allowed to buy up to 25 spots per week on each channel. These commercials will reach 63,000 households.

Here is our chip-in to fund this cable advertising; the first $2200 was already used for our NBC advertising contract; now we're trying to collect $1300 more, which would pay for 162 additional cable tv spots. If you can, please donate a few dollars -- every little bit helps!

Here are three of the commercials we're going to use (we have our PAC disclaimers edited into the ones actually being broadcast); we also have 2 locally-produced commercials that are being edited, and should be a good, Ohio-centric complement to these national ads:

If anyone has specific advice about which cable stations we should target with our ads, your input is welcome. I'm leaning toward the news stations (CNN etc.), rather than branching out to the sports and movie channels.

Bump.

Ohio's going to be a big player in a month, we need to increase our presence there to increase our media exposure (the debate's going to be held there). It's also District WTA + statewide WTA bonus, so it's not useless to advertise there. Not to mention the ads are ridiculously cheap!

For those of us who haven't given up, we still have time to make Ohio a win for Dr. Paul. Please chip in a few dollars so that we can blanket the cable airwaves with his message of freedom!

Come on, Ohio has *88* delegates! And it's not a winner-take-all state! Let's flood our airwaves with Ron Paul! Please chip in a few bucks if you can!

An encouraging story: one of our local grassroots leaders in Cleveland just got permission from her city councilman to put up 30 Ron Paul signs on public street corners, and to legally leave these signs up until our March 4th election! We have a chance to do well in Ohio!

run the suprisingly liberal McCain AD AND the ron paul ads ... together..
