Andy Sanborn, a NH state senator who endorsed Ron Paul ( http://politicalscoop.wmur.com/exclusive-sen-sanborn-endorses-ron-paul ) could use some help

August 20th is the fundraising deadline for the first reporting period before the primary, Sept. 11th.

We're asking all those who believe "death is not the worst of evils" to donate to a pro-liberty candidate who is fighting for the NH and US Constitutions.

Our goal is $5,000 in one day, so even if you can only contribute $5, $10, or $25 dollars, every bit helps.

Andy Sanborn, the best known Ron Paul supporter in New Hampshire running for reelection, is having a money bomb on 8/20/12. Andy Sanborn endorsed Ron Paul while serving in the New Hampshire senate. He co-chaired Ron Paul's campaign in New Hampshire. During Youth for Ron Paul New Hampshire, we had a debate watching party at his restaurant in Concord, NH. Throughout the whole week, various YFP volunteers hung out at his restaurant and he assisted several volunteers with various things.

I'm personally volunteering for him, even though I don't live in his district. He is in a competitive 3 way primary and then will have a competitive general election. He is a prove campaigner as he was able to win in a district which leaned slightly Democratic in 2010. Andy hired Andrew, a former YAL intern and former Ron Paul staffer to manage his campaign. Andrew helped run Jim Forsythe's campaign in 2010.

Andy is the real deal. Even his wife is pretty pro-liberty and she is running for reelection in the NH House! I've talked to him extensively. He is friends with Ron Paul's Freaking Giant. He is great on pretty much all of the issues. The only issue I am not completely with him on is abortion. He is more pro-life than I am.

Please promote or donate to this money bomb. The more money donated, the more Ron Paul volunteers he is able to hire or help with expenses (like gas) and the longer he is able to do that. His district is very large so he needs your help. He is trying to reduce costs and really visit the voters by having him and at least 1 staffer use scooters when going door to door to save on gas. He needs to return to Concord.

Ademo Freeman was found guilty in court today. Anyway, I was talking to a guy running for state rep in the major town in Andy Sanborn's district. He said he thought Sanborn's main opponent was in the lead in the town. That isn't good at all. We really need Andy Sanborn to win in NH.

I am writing this letter in support Sen. Andy Sanborn for state senator.

I first met Sen. Sanborn at the State House, working on a program to bring more jobs to New Hampshire. His message was simple at the time and it has not changed: lower taxes, lower regulation and a friendlier business environment.

Sen. Sanborn’s track record has mirrored his message 100 percent both in votes and in deeds. He has never voted for a new tax. He has never voted for a new regulation. He has worked tirelessly to try to reform the complex, multi-headed, New Hampshire business tax code to make it simpler and friendlier to businesses. He has also worked as a volunteer board member with the New Hampshire Business Finance Authority and private venture capital firms to bring millions of dollars of early-stage venture capital into the Granite State.

The effect? It has immediately created new high-paying jobs in New Hampshire. As an entrepreneur, I know as well as anyone that access to early stage capital can mean the difference between a good idea and a thriving small business. Andy Sanborn, who is also a small business owner, understands this as well. When I think about what our state needs today, its less politicians and more business owners taking their turn. Andy is a super-strong fiscal conservative who should have the support of our district’s voters.

I can also attest to Sen Sanborn being the real deal. Had thanksgiving with him and a few folk at his restaurant a few years back and he was definitely looking forward to Ron running again. At the same time, he was talking about all the effort that he'd have to put in to win a state senate seat but was willing to do so.

Sorry, my bad :) Do you have a copy of the letter where Ron Paul endorsed Andy Sanborn? A thread about that could appear on this forum and then it could be blogged.
