Don't know yet. I have to wait and see who actually gets on the ballot in my state. I do know I will not write in any candidate who has not filed the appropriate paperwork nor will I vote for either of the dominant party nominees.

Frank Moore (Independent):

<-- Seriously, this guy is running.

What the hell?

Anyways, I think I should run. I'll represent the Costume Party, since even though I would wear a costume, I'd still be more real and down to earth then some of these fakers running for President... Except maybe that guy ^^

Looking at both the CP's webpage and ballot-access.org, it appears that the CP fell short by (and I'm not kidding here...) 6,666 signatures. Though they did file a lawsuit, it appears only Barr and Nader will be on in PA.

Read that whole thread... and tell me what you think.

I'm curious.

While I agree (to an extent...) with #13, I think #26 may have pointed out what contributed to the excess in that particular thread.

(And yes, I'd probably prefer Moore over Obama since no one would listen to him & he'd probably die in office)

Bump.

I'm going to unofficially close this poll on the first of September so that more sets of data are available to show trends.

90%+ of Americans have no clue who any of the people on that list are, America knows they have a choice, McCain or Obama, more of the same or Change, i dont care what anyone says no matter what we do it wil be one of these two, the question realy comes down to who will put us 6 feet under or who will put us 3 feet under :p

ok your avatar is friggin hilarious

I had no idea there were so many American third party candidates. Why are there so many socialists/communists? Why is there no Marijuana party like in Canada, and what the FUCK is up with the prohibition party?

There are a few more parties. I'm going to remove those who haven't received a vote for both polls thus far and include others, including the Objectivist Party which only recently got on the ballot in a couple states.

That said, I'm unofficially ending it this Friday... November isn't that far away.

I finally voted... Bob Barr. I actually prefer Chuck Baldwin in many ways but he is not going to be on the ballot in my state (PA) and since he will not be on the ballot in CA, NY and TX (and Barr will) I have to swing my Ron Paul vote to Bob Barr. I really don't like his running mate at all but since they are not going to win in November anyway I just want to back the person with the greatest chance to get out a pro-liberty message (I know he is NOT perfect) and accumulate enough votes to catch the media's attention.

Wise decision. ;)
