Tucker Carlson himself is supposed to be a journalist but still better than some, at least he is bringing up this old Guardian Report now that claims 75% to 85% of Afghan Army (that US taxpayers had been funding for last 20 years) were drug junkies:

This may start to help explain why 300,000 strong Afghan army instantly vanished in thin air instead of fighting the advancing Talibans this month but this is not the full story. We'll probably also start to hear about a wider corruption complex involving warlords, contractors & wars profiteers gravy train and more.

British soldiers claim Afghan colleagues take drugs and 'touch up the guys they are working with'

British soldiers have claimed their Afghan colleagues regularly take drugs and sometimes 'touch up the guys they were working with'.
The soldiers made the comments as they raised concerns over the Afghan forces while speaking about the future of the country and whether the NATO mission was a success.
The revelations come as Stanley McChrystal, former US commander General, warned Afghanistan could slip back into civil war if it does not continue to receive support from the West following the withdrawal of most international troops this year.

No wonder they couldn't defeat the Taliban.:tears:

The Afghan Army was mostly made up of Uzbeks and such from border regions , illiterate and just on the payroll for the free lunch and money to get high and buy cigarettes.

If this vaccine qualifies as a drug, then what like half of americans are also on drugs? Not including those on permanent prescriptions?

From a related thread:

There has been some scattered interviews with US military trainers in Afghanistan that confirm the idea that the Afghan National Army has always been a joke. They essentially took the bums of Afghanistan, dressed them in uniforms, and pretended that they were a military. They were lazy, incompetent, illiterate, unemployable drug addicts that were in costume.

The entire farce was nothing but a rip-off of the American taxpayers. People should be jailed over this.

Instead, we have 24x7 MIC propaganda on all of the news outlets saying that this is merely an incompetent “withdrawal”. It’s a distraction from twenty years of fraud, graft, corruption and cronyism.

This olden saying comes to mind:
'You can fool some of the people all of the time or all of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time'

That said, 20 years is pretty long time.
