Cody Wilson, 1 of the 15 most dangerous people in the world is the most recently announced 2014 Liberty Forum speaker.

Cody Rutledge Wilson (born January 31, 1988) is an American crypto-anarchis and free-market anarchist, and activist, best-known as a founder/director of Defense Distributed, a non-profit organization that develops and publishes open source gun designs, so-called "Wiki Weapons", suitable for 3D printing.

Defense Distributed gained international notoriety in 2013 when it published plans online for the Liberator, a functioning pistol that could be reproduced with a 3D printer. USA Carry named Wilson one of America's "30 Influential Pro-Gun Rights Advocates," and Wired Magazine's "Danger Room" has named him one of "The 15 Most Dangerous People in the World."

Come on up folks. Liberty Forum starts on Thursday, February 19 and ends Sunday, February 23, 2014. Both Thursday and Sunday are free. Plus, there will be events at clubs and bars around the state (Manchester, Nashua and Keene) both before and after Liberty Forum. Cody Wilson will speak on Saturday at 11AM.

James O'Keefe is the latest announced speaker. You know him. He is the guy that got ACORN to change it's name due to all of the bad publicity. He's an interesting investigative journalist. That works with the overall theme of Liberty Forum.

BTW, someone mentioned to me that Ben Swann will be at Liberty Forum. I don't know if that is accurate. Maybe he will be a speaker? Maybe not? Alex Jones was at a recent Porcfest but wasn't a speaker and it wasn't announced. Peter Schiff was a speaker at a recent Porcfest but only for 3 minutes because he was the guy that introduced Gary Johnson. It was really interesting. It's like Peter was a speaker, but he wasn't. It was way different from when he spoke for over an hour at a past Liberty Forum. I guess that's how these events go sometimes. Sometimes you get bonus were random liberty celebrities just show up, unannounced or just announced a couple days before the event starts. A good problem to have, for sure ;)

Hahaha, this goofball was with me in the same Honors program that I participated in back in college. He didn't really stand out much in the classes we took together(I was the Ron Paul pusher then); this is too funny!

Of course, Liberty Forum will have speakers other than leaders in 3D printing and investigative journalism. For example, just like last year, some of the top Bitcoin folks in the world will be at Liberty Forum. 1 recently announced speaker is the CEO of Overstocked.com.

There is a thread about that right here. http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...EO-Patrick-Byrne-to-Speak-at-NH-Liberty-Forum

Remember, all day Thursday is FREE. On Friday and Saturday, there are over a dozen events, plus the vending room and hall ways are free all weekend. There is even a free event on Sunday. If you are within 100 miles of Nashua, NH, there is no reason not to come. While you are in Nashua, shop. The savings on the stuff you buy alone will more than cover your gas costs!

How many lectures can fit into 100 minutes? Sixteen, says Liberty Forum
By DAVID BROOKS

Some quotes from the article.

NASHUA – If you’re going to hold the interest of the Twitter-enabled world, where 140 characters is a conversation, you can’t dawdle.

Hence the idea of Ignite Talks, a format that limits speakers to five minutes total and exactly 20 presentation slides, each of which stays visible for 15 seconds and then disappears. Zip, bang – next!

The format was started in 2006 amid the tech crowd in Seattle as a speedier version of popular TED talks, which were themselves conceived as quick-hit variations on the traditional lecture format. On Thursday, it will come to Nashua as part of Liberty Forum, the annual gathering organized by the Free State Project.

Other free events on Thursday include an introduction to the crypto-currency bitcoin at 1:30 p.m., a discussion about the death penalty at 4 p.m., and lessons in “counter-surveillance” for those with “NSA spying concerns” at 6:30 p.m.

The events include sessions by James O’Keefe, whose undercover videos of voter registration irregularities have been at the center of the debate over voter ID laws; Cody Wilson, who created a 3-D-printed gun for a project he calls WikiWeapons; and Kevin Bloom, of Concord, whose lobbying is part of the reason New Hampshire is the first state to categorize “nanobreweries” for small-scale beer-making.

Naomi Wolf, author of “The Beauty Myth,” will give a keynote address at 9 p.m. Friday. The big Saturday evening panel on “the civic importance of whistle-blowing” includes two people who met with Edward Snowden in Russia.

Are you saying that Cody was a class clown? What made/makes him a goofball? Was he against your message of liberty?

He seems to be a standup guy, who shares my view of liberty. I dont know him personally though...

Why don't you know him? You have a chance to meet him this weekend :) The weather is great and it cannot be that much to fly from Chicago to Boston or Manchester.

It would be something I enjoy for sure, but I've already eatn' up vacation for a firearms training course, the "Gun Rights Policy Conference" in September, and the "Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day" in March. As cool as it would be to attend, I just cant spare the time due to my local events.

Naturally, I have more days but they start to encroach on family time off - and my wife could give a sh!t about her rights. She's so far gone that she could live happily on bread, water, and reruns of the bachelor and grays anatomy.

If you are into shooting and if you get more vacation time in April...
