"The prevention and cure of depressions is a central mission of macroeconomics, and if we can't understand what happened in the 1930s, how can we be sure it won't happen again?"

We all pretty much know that. It's Government thinking that if they don't spend or do something(which is truly STUPID) Americans will view them as incompetent.

Morons like Bernake, Krugman, and Robert Reich think the opposite. But if it was their own personal money, all of them would say NO.
