2 pledges short!

VIDEO TAPE IT and post it here! I will support another one of these in another state....

I spoke with the banner advertising company and they told us that we had to provide an aerial billboard or have them make it. That blew the budget sky high so we cannot go for it this July 4th. It certainly is an ambitious project though. See more info at our MIAMI topic forum (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=2955).

Its been a lesson about how much finances are we talking about really to get the name "Ron Paul" in the public arena.

How much are we talking about here? Can you guys make it? That would probably be substantially cheaper than having them make it. If so, how much are the materials?

I got another quote for $575. That's 1.5hrs of airtime at $475 and $100 set up fee. They re-use their own letters, so there is no building involved. I'm going to get another quote in the morning.

We would actually need about 3 more people. We need 14 pledges for $40 = $560 (I can cover the extra $15), we are at 11.

Hamadeh are you still open to pledge?

I FOUND A NEW COMPANY! They'll do it for $395 plus $2 a letter!

What should the sign say?????

I would think

Hope for America www.RONPAUL2008.com

That's his slogan and with the website now showing videos, news, and links to the various social networking sites it's a good place for people to start. I also think putting the name in all capitals makes it more likely people will remeber it even if they don't visit the site. IMO

On a side note nice work on getting this put together!

Does the fact that he's running for president need to be on there? I'm asking because I think there are a lot of people don't know. Would they be able to put it together from?:

Hope for America www.RONPAUL2008.com

dunno.

That may be true, I assumed people would see the 2008 and get it but perhaps instead of Hope for America something like

Vote Smart www.RONPAUL2008.com

although that may sound condescending to people who like other candidates but a message like that which implys directly it's for an election.

I'm going to reserve an hour with this latest company, I'm trying to decide on a message, I just posted a poll.

I can't think of how to solve the problem, given our space limitations. I like, "Hope for America", better.
