Hey guys,

We here in first district have a small number growing but it's just between Craven County and Pitt, looking for other leaders from other counties to help us organize and be able to get the delegate spots in at District. If you're in 1st or know who I can contact to get more people in 1st, please let me know! It's crucial that we work on 1st district, they are very unorganized and won't present as much of a challenge via numbers. The opposition is going to be hard without them though, they're a very big gathering of neocons and religious folk who I'm certain are backing Santorum, they don't take kindly to Paul voters, but with our numbers they won't be able to.

So far we've got a small handful of delegates to 1st CD convention but I'm sure we'll need more, and we need to organize who we're putting up to be national delegates so the votes aren't split.

1st district is an economincally challenged area, it's possible that very few people will step up as nominees. Even if the party takes the top line delegates, you stand a very good chance of getting spots among the alternates. It's tough to persuade people to spend $3000 to go to Tampa, and mostly watch as an alternate.

Make sure this Original Poster is legit before you give away too much information.
There are a lot of Mar 2012 Trolls around here trying to data mine, infiltrate, and bring down morale.

This guy sounds legit, but be careful with new posters.

:D at my legitimacy. I had to make a new account due to my other one being directly correlated to my name, you can ask me anything and I'll PM you back an answer. All I can say is that I tried to make Jeremy's float last sunday but couldn't as I was burnt out from driving all over NC beforehand. (And from meeting Glen Bradley on the tues before.)

I'm leading the majority of Pitt County, including the meetups and the Liberty group in the area. Trying not to drop any google-indexable names except via PM here, the establishment is starting to get very ugly, and in our case, they know how to Google.

BTW i'm trying to pull information from the 2008 Convention for the 1st district to get an idea of how many will be there as delegates. I've gone back to 2008 on these forums and see pretty much every district's info from 2008 but 1st is missing. I'd love to have an idea to know what we're potentially facing, numbers wise.
