I'll try to carve out some time tomorrow to knock out some calls. We have an electrician coming out, but I'm sure I can call afterwards. :)

Let's do this!

I will call. But, is it ok to do it on Sunday? That really ticks off some people.

Dunno, I'm in the same boat. When the electrician was done here, it was between 6 and 7 PM in MI, and the site stops allowing you to call then (so as not to interrupt dinner...). I'm guessing that if they don't want us to call on Sunday, they won't let us.

Our volunteer network is meeting up tomorrow at a lounge to make calls for like 3 hours in the afternoon/evening and it's actually being organized, in addition to a few past ones, by the RP MI chair.

FSP-Rebel! What's the word from the ground up there?

I'm personally feeling this will be one of the greatest victories of our lifetime

Yes people we call tomorrow, but not before 12:00 eastern time - as of right now we have 2 days and 1.5 hours remaining til the big day

Goodness shall come to those who expend some energy towards it and such. :) can't say a win b4 home stretch. But, cool is coming

Mid-afternoon bump.

I was getting mostly voicemail, but now people are starting to answer. We can still get a few more minutes of calling in before the dinner hour, and maybe a few afterwards. Let's go!

It'll be rather close but I think the campaign has everything in order for victory. We've got poll watchers set for key high-turnout areas plus people to pour over the incoming absentee ballot counts. The PAC help has been working whilst the volunteers have been phone-banking not only GOTV but also to supporters outside the district to recruit them to help out on primary day by scheduling them for shifts at certain precincts in order to portray a smiling face for Kerry and also giving out lit. We had over a dozen people at one location today making calls for both of the above reasons plus untold amount of supporters making calls on their own. In the 3 hrs I spent today I probably made north of 100 calls and reminded many to vote plus their friends and fam while also recruiting at least a handful of peeps to help out on primary day. Tomorrow I pick up my stack of lit as I'm scheduled to work a major precinct in Livonia from 7-5, then I have to race back to my district to vote for myself, dad and bro for precinct delegates, then turnaround and head back up for the victory party, which should be awesome assuming we win.

I should also note that we have people that work for Rand up here (as volunteers) this weekend coordinating our GOTV to give some experience to the Kerry campaign.

Fantastic. Hope to get some more calls in tomorrow. Just wondering, how has the response been from the people you have talked too? Are most of them supporting Kerry?

I haven't worked on the call4Kerry website, I was just using printed lists that were given to me by one of the coordinators, which were Ron Paul supporters both inside and outside (for poll help) the area. I get plenty of voice mails but also had plenty of convos with supporters, all of which were voting and were getting their peers to do the same. So, make sure all the Paul folk turnout then use our man power at the polls to leverage other voters to our camp. There's key voting precincts in the major cities in this district and we're targeting most of the available help to get the biggest bang for the buck.
