The Colorado Daily student newspaper reports this morning that
activists are hoping to draw 10,000 from a variety of organizations, causes, and campaigns
- complete with media trucks providing some local and national coverage btw -
for a march on the same day as the GOP presidential debate on campus.

The demonstration, called " Our Future, Our Choice : March for Civic Engagement"
begins at the bandshell in Boulder's Central Park and ends at the Coors Event Center,
where Republican candidates will be sparring with each other during a live television broadcast.

The activists are planning to use CU's Business Field, which is across Regent Drive from the arena,
for post-march activities and displays.

Gary Roland, who is helping to organize the march, said groups who are interested in topics such as climate change,
health care, immigration, gender equality and education are likely to participate.

The interested groups have been asked to create an art piece that demonstrates their vision for the future, Roland said.

Hmmm. . . 3 days before Halloween weekend . . . march as a zombie (seems big this year) or a clown in business attire a la Trump (?)
