  • St. Paul doesn't teach predestination as the Calvinists do. That God, Who is outside of time, knows who in the end will be saved or not, does not mean that He has willed them to be unsaved (as the Calvinists have distorted predestination to mean) Thanks! Augustine uses Paul to back up his doctrine of predestination, so I assumed. :/ I want to get an Orthodox study bible so I can learn these things better. :)
My daughter loves using my ipad, but she's dropped it about 20 times. Every time it happens I get a horrible feeling thinking I'm going to turn it over and the screen will be completely cracked. You have my sympathy!
Phew! Reverse osmosis filters should remove basically everything from the waster, including 90%+ of all minerals. Just add some fluoride before drinking :p
LOL. I just made some room. One of the messages I deleted was one I sent to you asking you to make room in your inbox. :D
I have an update for you regarding our recent conversation, as I met with my doc the other day. If you'd like to read it, empty your inbox a bit. :)
ok but you must admit a while ago there was a change in the whole philosophy of the medical field.

There was a shift that took away the power of a physician to heal the patient as he she deemed necessary.

It seems we have been pushed into this idea that way only way to to heal someone is by prescribing the correct pill for the job. This was a deliberate movement by the pharm companies and their backers. It is their creed (for obvious reasons).

I've been rushed out of many a doctors office with a script in hand without even been asked about the simplest details of my diet, stress, lifestyle changes etc...

Another shining example of mixing big business and government. Big pharm is now protected from competition in the field of medicine by a huge federal bureaucracy.
I didn't want to offend you. Is just that the whole doctor/pharmacist check and balance idea seems a little disfuntional considering the amount of money big pharm contributes to lobbing for control.

P.S. though I'm not a doctor, my father worked as a pharmacist and sales manager for Lilly for 30 years and I worked in the largest inpatient pharmacy in my state for 4 years while in undergraduate school and I speak from first hand experience.

The system is very corrupt and I was keeping it short for the purpose of posting to those who seek to confuse healing with corporate cronyism.

    No offense intended.
    Thank you for the +rep.

" I would just caution you not to have malice."

I can assure you, while posting the things I post, I do so without malice. I do have contempt for eugenicist, nevertheless. And my goal is to expose them as much as I can.
But your objection to me that was that Calvinism says our choices are predetermined.

On the Arminian view which says that God knows everything, including our choices, that means that there are specific choices that will be made, and no other choices will be made.

Don't you see my point? Your view does not absolve you of the understanding that there are a specific script of choices that will be made. God knows them all, according to you.
    TER,

Don't you believe as an Arminian that God knows everything that will happen? Then you believe the same thing that a Calvinist believes. Even if God only knows what our choices will be, that still means that the choices will be made and there is no other choice that will be made. Think about it.
Thank you..Do you know how I can get it on the main page of Ron Paul Forums? I'm a newbie posting here...could you embed it for me by chance? Just wondering...
You mentioned you had a video for me, but my mailbox was full. I cleaned it out, whenever you get a chance to send that vid to me. Thanks! :)
