I never attacked your religious views, I could care less what they are. I was debating with you why animals do not have the same rights as humans. That has nothing to do with my religion or even belief in the soul. It has to do with natural rights, which can exist even in the absence of a belief in God. You've gone on to insult my religion, insult me personally and I've asked you to please leave me alone. So please don't write back.

I -repped you because your arguments were idiotic. You don't have to be religious or even believe in God to see that humans are different from animals and that rights come from our superiority to any other animal that has ever lived. We have reason, we understand what rights are and we're the only animal that has the ability and the will to respect them.

A cow does not have the same rights as a human being. A cow does not have the right to life. Killing a cow and eating it is not murder. That's not to say we shouldn't treat animals with respect or that it is morally acceptable to make an animal suffer for no reason.

You may not believe in us having a soul and that's your right. Enjoy your miserable world view, I won't try to convince you otherwise, that's your problem.
