This is still something I don't quite understand. Some states are winner takes all, some seem to be percentage based (maybe?) and some are purely based off what delegates got votes or somesuch? Very confusing.

I'm basing that assumption off of our performance so far in states that have already been called for a candidate. Just pure hypothetical. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a few good seconds (theres a couple believably within reach IMO), but I'm doubting we'll pull any firsts tonight.

To step back from things for a moment, assuming Paul gets no better than third in any given area that hasn't been decided yet, how many states after today will we have to get 1st in in order to WIN?

You know what kills me is is one of the TOP issues people I've talked with have had with Ron Paul is that he's "not electable", and yet here are a whole slew of people voting for Thompson, the one who REALLY isn't electable! :(

I unfortunately got to the polls late in the day (dang work) at around 5 or so. Stayed until just a little after 7. I'm in one of the supposedly most active precints in Blount (Alcoa). Didn't see too many people come in while I was there. Maybe a few dozen. Most people shrugged off my advances...

Out in East TN (Blount county) they have some sort of machine that has this scroll wheel thing that you use to select your choices. I'm guessing they've been around for a few thousand years. :rolleyes:
