    There goes Ted being sly again. Captains and "co-captains"? For all we know it could be 900 captains and 900 co-captains. Seems silly to lump them all in unless you're trying to purposefully make your number look larger than it actually is.

    IMO, they would be calling them precinct captains if that's what they were. Calling them "caucus captains" seems like his campaigns way of spinning things like they usually do.

    I don't see a real distinction between the writer's Tier 2 and Tier 3 office descriptions other then the fact that he needed to break them into those tiers for the sake of writing the article. Also the fact that no Republican has a Tier 1 office smells fishy.

    Cruz is peaking too early, IMO. 6 weeks out from Iowa is plenty of time for all the other candidates to prepare their canons for the top dogs.
