I agree with you that you have to keep your lawn and what not, but still shouldn't arrest people for it.
And then especially shouldn't fine more than prostitution, pimping, and drunk driving.

Just found out a little bit more on this;
It appears there were multiple cases tried on the same day that my mothers was. We have put in a request for all the docets, and have a meeting with the local papers next tuesday.
1 PIMP was tried
1 Prostitute was tried
3 DWI Crimes were...
The point is, if the city will arrest someone for grass, what will the Federal Government do?
It falls in line with Ron Paul's view on limited Government - not just at the Federal Level, but at ALL levels.

Your property is your own, when the Government (at any level) tries to tell you that your grass must be a certain length, or you can't have a shed in your own backyard, then they are violating your rights and overstepping their authority.
