    Paul-McCain Debate

If McCain doesn't want to do it I'd be more than happy with Ron challenging Hillary and Obama to a debate. To me that would generate much more attention. Ron would absolutely bend them over the table. It would also give him the oppurtunity to show that Obama, Clinton, and McCain aren't that...

for old times sake lets blow this poll up

TexAgs.com is the top message board for Texas A&M sports/alumni and A&M is one of the most conservative(read as neoconservative) schools in the country. Robert Gates was the university president before becoming Secretary of Defense(he's an awesome man but I disagree with his politics), and...

I have a question about backed currencies

I have gotten into discussions with people about fiat currency and inflation. I am able to hold my own on most issues except when questioned on the flexibility and room for growth when using a currency backed by a standard. How does a backed currency allow for flexibility and growth?

How difficult is it going to be for finance majors graudating in 2009/2010?

I'm majoring in finance and I'm wondering what to expect when I graduate. I don't really know what I want to do with it, but ever since learning about Ron Paul, Mises, and Rothbard the free market and economics have interested me more than anything. RP has also cured my political apathy, and I...

    Is he a prophet?

His book A Foreing Policy for Freedom is a compilation of speeches he has given to the House over the past 30 years on foreign policy. It starts in 1977 and progresses to 2006 I believe. It is sad but funny at the same time. An event will occurr causing some form of proposed legislation or...

    Is he a prophet?

If there is one that you do read it's his speech to the House at the end of his fourth term in Congress in 1984. It's unbelievable. He owned everyone in the House that day and nailed every problem we face today, 25 YEARS AGO. http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul433.html

    Is he a prophet?

Or is he just a genius with some common sense that is honest and not corrupt? Read through his writings from 4-6 years ago. Start from the bottom and move up to present time. http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul-arch.html Predictions, April 26, 2002 :eek...

Why did gold go down today?

Any time there is a rate cut or any event that has impact on the supply of a currency it takes a while for the market to adjust to that stimulus. It's the short term fix to a long term problem. It works for now, but some time down the road the market is going to decide that it doesn't like...

10-day Siege on TX starts in Austin Feb. 23rd

Strong left influence at UT? No way.:D jk Things are fairly quiet down here as far as the election goes. I don't know what to say about the student population, but with the GHWB Library on campus, you can imagine the neo-conservative ideology is predominate.

10-day Siege on TX starts in Austin Feb. 23rd

Austin's bigger than that. I think the population of Austin/Round Rock/Georgetown is around half a million. UT has 50,000 students alone. From what one of my buddies has been telling me RP is the most visible candidate on campus.
