McCain and Romney need to stop that annoying smirking. Every single time Ron speaks they cut to wide shots with those two sitting there with that smug look on their faces. I'm starting to like the Huckster more and more as this debate goes on too, at least he's speaking up for Ron and himself.

If you watch the video you can see right after the whisper Tim Russert mentions that Reagan raised taxes. It was most likely Brian Williams clarifying something to him and it was just picked up by the mic. Do you really think Romney would have his ear piece loud enough to have it be picked up...

Ron should ask why Giuliani won't ever stfu about 9/11. If not for 9/11 Rudy wouldn't be close to where he is right now, people would just be saying "Rudy who?"

To be fair Mitt Romney also got a little applause in there as well, so it's not just directed at Ron's supporters.

Al Qaeda has a safe haven in Pakistan because we went into Iraq and diverted attention away from that area!! Jesus, why is Ron the only sane Republican up there who doesn't lie and resort to fear of terrorists?

Maybe, but that's probably not why they can't clap. MSNBC never allows their audience to clap, Brian himself said it saves 6-7 minutes of debate time.

McCain say "My friends" or talk how he supported the surge? Romney talk about "Radical jihadism" "Islamic fundamentalism" "Radical islamic jihadism" "Islamic terrorism" or any variation of those? Giuliani say "9/11" "Al Qaeda" "Islamic terrorism" "War on Terror"? Huckabee talk about something...

Brian Williams is awesome, he's definitely my favorite news anchor. He seems to be fair, a hell of a lot better than everyone at Fox News. He participates in a lot of comedy shows too, he goes on the Daily Show, Colbert Report, Conan, and he hosted SNL too. Not that those things have to do...

You have to give CNN some leeway here. They only have a small amount of time to get an interview in, so they have to edit it down. I don't really know why everyone here is complaining, I thought it was a fairly good interview. May just be me =/

Every shred of respect I had for Romney just left. At this point I despise every single GOP candidate except Ron. None of the others deserve the White House. If Ron doesn't get the nomination I hope to god the democrats roll them in the election.
