This is a pretty good point, but I think the article address it well; most of the race-baiting was a paleoconservative fund-raising/galvanising ploy that has since been diminished by Dr. Paul's very own success.

I am in Iowa, not at the council bluffs camp but there have been no issues. Only one minor breakout of a fight between ron paul people. It's bound to happen with 300 random college students that have been cut off from their normal habits for a week.
