Libertarian Party Selects Gary Johnson As Presidential Nominee

There are some good things to say about Gary, but I think he's an intellectual lightweight. Not only does he seem to have a shaky grasp of libertarian ethics and economics -- he doesn't even seem to have much intellectual curiosity at all. Tom Woods did an analysis of the Johnson/Weld ticket...

[Video] Rand Paul on CNN slamming Hillary and Obama and addresses Trump's delegate problem

Don't confuse his thoughtful answers with simply trying be less radical, or more moderated. Rand just naturally talks like an academic or professor, which bores people in politics.

[Video] Rand Paul on CNN slamming Hillary and Obama and addresses Trump's delegate problem

Rand doesn't like to talk in soundbites, and really he just doesn't like to make things too black and white. Libertarians tend to think in moralist and simplified terms, where things neatly fit into their world view, which allows them to easily dismiss criticism or nuanced thought that doesn't...

Libertarian debate w/ Stossel on Fox Business April 1 & 8- FULL VIDEO ADDED

You implying that he isn't a US citizen is an implication of your understanding of the constitution, not him being born in Canada or being a citizen of Canada of course.

Libertarian debate w/ Stossel on Fox Business April 1 & 8- FULL VIDEO ADDED

According to your understanding of the constitution, however being born to an American citizen is generally accepted as a sufficient condition to being considered a natural citizen of the United States. It could be argued that the current understanding is wrong, but either way I could care less tbh.

And Cruz is arguably the least bad candidate, which is why Justin endorsed him.

The Mission Advancement Framework - A new site initiative!

For example, if you were to read an article on the NAP, then you might have a sidebar at top referencing to Deontological ethics or deontology. This way it will give people, especially beginners, a way to easily navigate through different libertarian-oriented ideas and allow them to understand...

The Mission Advancement Framework - A new site initiative!

If this forum were to make a Wiki, then I think it would be a good idea to make different portals that discuss major themes -- the same way that Wikipedia connects individual articles. If you were to look up 'Liberalism in the United States', Wikipedia will reference to the overarching theme of...

"liberty movement beat four governors from the establishment.”

    That would be David Gilmour.

January 28th Republican debate on Fox News - Official Thread

That's almost a certainty, he'll probably go after Rubio and Trump too.

    Is This True????

Many forgot about the Romney endorsement after his 2013 filibuster.

    Is This True????

Also, like many who have already addressed this I find it hard to believe that you didn't already know that. Finally, as a libertarian you should care about the libertarian goals being pursued and not meaningless endorsements that were made 4 years ago.

    Is This True????

Rand actually made a promise when running for his senate seat that he would endorse the Republican nominee, because voters were concerned that he wouldn't because of who his dad was.

Cato: Rand is the least interventionist candidate in the race

It's just a simple info-graphic meant to allow people to easily visualize information about various candidates in relation to their willingness to use force. The graph uses foreign policy proposals made by each candidate between August and December of 2015 as a basis for evidence I guess. The...
