Don't Lobby Dr. Paul for this. It's up to you to go out and do this. Don't sit around waiting for some higher centralized authority to act. Go out and start to convert people's hearts yourself!
I agree with you that not voting doesn't help anything, but, that comment (along with all the negative vibes surrounding the campaign right now) got me thinking. Is there any way to simply ignore government intervention in our lives? Some sort of civil disobedience-type solution?
QFT.
And if the controllers of that index abused their power in any manner even close to how the government currently does, then another index would spring to the forefront so fast you would hardly notice it.
The economy does need a growing capacity to exchange goods. It doesn't need a...
There is a bit of a difference between expected delegates (from Caucuses that have not had their state convention yet, but have had state delegates chosen) and actual delegates already received. I don't know how many Paul has actually already received, but I am fairly certain few caucus states...
I tried my best and we got less than Huckabee here in Tompkins county. Of course, there were about 4 times as many democrats as republicans at the polls.

And on the local (county/city) level there's lots more room for socialism/communalism. Political systems (probably all of them!) could work if everyone can manage mutual respect. It's harder, I think, to have mutual respect for people you've never seen/met and live in a radically different...
Try to convince a normal (mostly ignorant and educated in the definitely pro-union history taught in our schools) person of that and they'll tell you that the taxes were the side issue the south used to motivate people to fight.
Ron Paul should stay out of it for now I think. Grassroots...
Yep, no reason to lose hope. We're not doing great, but we're hanging in there. We need the other candidates to stick with it and keep the vote split. We need Ron Paul to keep pulling the other candidates further on the economic front.
If there is one, an anti-war candidate will win the...
