You are absolutely correct -- Congress is the key. Congress controls the purse strings, can limit federal court jurisdiction, and can contain the President. What would really turn things around would be electing more Ron Paul candidates to Congress.

I fully plan on voting for Ron Paul in November. If for any reason he is not on the November ballot, I will vote 3rd party. Even though I'm an elected Republican Committeeman, I refuse to help any of the neocons should one of them manage to steal the nomination.
