Schweikert. In addition to Quayle originally being a SOPA co-sponsor, David Schweikert voted No on extending the Patriot Act. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/house-rejects-extension-of-patriot-act-provisions-as-26-republicans-defect/

Awesome ad. What I want to see the liberty movement do as its next maneuver is an all-out war against the labor unions. I mean unions are dead in the long run anyways because they aren't economically sustainable but why kill them off later instead off sooner?
Yuck! We need to promote this news so it damages Perry's campaign as much as possible. As much as I dislike Rick Santorum, I have to give him credit for voting No on NAFTA.

I noticed a thread in this forum complaining about the lack of local candidates. Well, hopefully...
Targeting McCain would be a waste of time. He just won re-election to the Senate a few months ago and who knows if the Tea Party will even exist in its current form in 2016, or if McCain will even run for a 6th term at age 80? Graham and Hatch would be much better targets.
That doesn't sound very promising but I still am holding out until I hear Salmon himself talk about what he does/doesn't support. He's been out of Congress since before 9-11, so his votes and views on the modern political area aren't fully known.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I share the majority opinion here that Flake is good enough to be a Senator. Sure, I'd prefer Jim Deakin (or David Nolan if he was still alive) but Kyl is an indistinguishable neocon who no one will miss.
BTW, Matt Salmon (who represented this district before...
Jon Kyl isn't running for re-election in 2012 and Jeff Flake has declared his candidacy for the Republican nomination. I know Flake isn't as good as Ron Paul but he's still easily in the Top 10 best members of the House. I'm considering voting for him just as an improvement over Kyl. What's the...
It's a pretty Republican district (R +12 on the Cook Partisan Index) but I assume she's running as a member of the Libertarian Party (says she's been registered as one since 1994 on Wikipedia)? So I highly doubt victory is possible and I wouldn't focus on this race for 2012, although obviously...
Actually about 3% of Americans are Jewish and I've read (forget where) that they're about twice as likely as Gentiles to vote. So that would mean Jews are about 6% of voters from the start.
I don't see anything wrong with what you said. I think the reason the Founding Fathers didn't consider the issue of women's suffrage in the Constitution was because #1: they saw women as more politically authoritarian than men. Current polls support this, showing women are more likely to support...
