Now this IS a difficult one

More of a tactic, but at least on a relative level, Romney's is probably more "real" than Gingrich's, for a certain value of "real."

Dr. Paul to receive two "pivotal" endorsements tomorrow!

I can attest to this. I'm from the northeast, and when I was 14 or so I bought a pair of L.L. Bean hiking boots, as I was a boy scout and did a lot of camping, much of it in the snow. It's been more than ten years and I haven't had to buy another pair of boots since.

    PPP-MN Tweets

Iowa is a caucus format, but it doesn't act like a caucus state. Turnout is much higher in Iowa as a function of population. Consider the 2008 numbers (rough numbers, the population is current population): Iowa: Population: 3 million Turnout: 120,000 Nevada: Population: 2.7 million Turnout...

    10 RICHEST CANDIDATES IN HISTORY

At that point most semi-decent folks would become what is known as a "philanthropist." One of the things I've always liked about conservatism is the idea, which admittedly sometimes gets lost in politics, that when you eliminate government social programs, they should be replaced by private...

Early Exit Polls Show Paul in Second--Are These Legit?

I think the poll is probably bogus, but I also think the scenario is plausible, if you assume a better-than-expected turnout of Paul supporters, plus a dropoff for Romney based on the last week (I do expect Romney to underperform his recent polling average, as polls tend to lag a bit and he's...

Drudge Poll: Gingrich Up by 30,000 Votes

Sheep probably. Most of the websites I've seen have been saying Gingrich won the debate, and their entire rationale for that stance is based on the first 1 minute or so of the debate. It's almost like they watched the first question, saw Gingrich go off on the media, then said "Yep, Newt won...

C.S. Monitor: Will Ron Paul pick up many of Rick Perry's voters?

To their credit, nobody else seems to be noting it.

New "exneocon" ppl are waking up!

I always liked watching Beck try to diagram things on his blackboard and whatnot. It could only be described as Insane Troll Logic.

C.S. Monitor: Will Ron Paul pick up many of Rick Perry's voters?

Perry was actually probably the closest to Paul in terms of economics. As in, unlike the other candidates who think trimming a couple programs here and there will get the economy rolling, at least Perry wanted to cut entire departments (even if he couldn't remember which ones on occasion).

Colbert on Morning Joe: endorses (in all seriousness) Ron Paul

Well, I think Joe's actually read a book before. I thought it was hilarious.

Colbert on Morning Joe: endorses (in all seriousness) Ron Paul

It's not an endorsement. It's nice to see, however, and it can only help I think.

Colbert on Morning Joe: endorses (in all seriousness) Ron Paul

Good stuff. Also that's a fantastic joke.

    South Carolina victory party

But that would be a great place for it. We could roast marshmallows.

Herman Cain is making his "unconventional" endorsement now.

Cain is on Out Front right now. TBH, his explanation of it is pretty decent. He wants people to be excited about the primary. So do we, when you think about it. Who's more excited than us?
