Well, this is the trouble with the LP. They focus on big and unrealistic ambitions instead of making small gains and working up. If AP ran for senate I would wish him the best, but I wouldn't donate any money to his campaign.

He definitely had the experience to make his outsider campaign possible.

I agree. It would take just the right circumstances to pull it off though. The LP definitely has a better chance to get in the House of Representatives than the Senate.

One has to admit that the very thing Rand is getting criticized for was exactly what people were hyping up in 2013 and 2014. Everyone was saying that Rand was someone with a libertarian message but with broader appeal. When he attempted that people had a problem with it.

At the moment it didn't look like he was going to qualify. You have to remember that RCP average isn't what gets people into the debates. It's whatever polls the network recognizes.

To answer my question: Maryland updated their list yesterday and yesterday was the deadline to withdrawal candidacy. Rand Paul was still listed. If he is on my ballot, I'll give him my one lonely vote. The reason I'm asking is because I don't want a bunch of people getting disappointed when...

I don't think people are understanding the question. Generally, when a candidate drops out they remain on a few ballots that were already established before the announcement. Therefore, that candidate would no longer be on ballots in later states. Rand Paul supporters are saying that Rand Paul...

I went in 2013 and 2014. With Rand out of the race I don't know. That was my primary reason in the past.

Yes, but people are saying that his campaign will remain open to voting in all 50 states and that he is only ceasing from his campaigning. I realize that names of people that dropped out do appears on ballots if the ballot was already established before they drop out.

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but people all over social media are saying that Rand Paul will still be on the ballot in all 50 states because he merely suspended with campaign rather than dropped out. I am skeptical. Is there any truth to this?
