Unfortunately they already have the registration mechanism in place. Just a matter of the right time for them to bring it back. As a side note, I didn't know Ford ended the program in 1975 (but Carter brought in back in 1980). Props to Ford for that.

The interesting part is that the areas of Kosovo which have a Serb majority are mineral rich. Definitely a flash-point in the making.

The real thing to worry about is if any of the NATO troops in Kosovo get attacked by Serb forces. We're treaty bound to assist in the defense of NATO member nations, so we'd be drawn into another conflict. Hooray for entangling alliances!
