It's the only way. Even the so-called "friendly" reporters have to abide by the rules of the network. Having a channel which frees up a reporter to speak the truth will make all the difference. And I'm sure plenty of sponsors can be found.

Now we can urge people that were going to vote for mccain to vote for a third party instead. Since it is not a battleground anymore, there is nothing to so-call "spoil" the election.

Any amendment is a good thing because it delays action. I was listening to Pelosi, and she says that if the legislation is amended, it will take weeks to be passed by the Senate again. By then, the chicken littles will be proved wrong.

You forgot corporate bailouts

This is great. It doesn't even matter which candidate won. All that matters is that the Republicans failed to oust a third party candidate. I will be equally happy with the Democrats fail to oust Nader from a ballot.
