There was an interesting post somewhere above me. I believe that man evolved from lesser beings, and I also do not believe in any "final authority" beyond the natural extent of our lives. Now I'm probably not the pinnacle of kindness or generosity, but I am definitely not a mean-spirited...

I want to know how exactly they died for our freedom. Unless we're going back centuries to the Revolutionary War or 1812, I'm pretty sure I'd still be free, and likely even moreso, if our soldiers hadn't died in the world wars, Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, et. al.
