These weren't for GOP National Committeemen. These were for specific committees (i.e. resolutions/rules committee) for the National Convention. The costs involved with being on the GOP National Committee are ridiculous as you need to fund your own way to DC several times a year.
Here is a direct quote from one our alternates who attended the committee selection meeting after the convention (anyone could attend but only delegates had voting status):
"The first several votes by the national delegates are taking place now. It is funny to see vote after vote taking place...
Also, we placed ALL of our delegates on ALL committees to national. And yes, that includes the CHAIRMAN of the delegation--beating out the chairman of the CO GOP, Ryan Call.
"Clement Koerber Jr" is a RP supporter. He is a great guy (lives right down the street from me) and he personally told me that he is going to the national convention to crotch punch the establishment Republicans.
So yes, most unpledged are Ron Paul.
Here's a video I shot from the reading of the results. Most people left at this point and everyone cheering are RP supporters.

FYI: I was trying to keep a low profile with the camera, so sorry for the crappy capture.
Was this the Hennepin County Convention? My mother was there, and I hadn't heard from her all day, and this may be why. I'll have to get the details from her tomorrow.
We took 9 out 10 delegates for state and 9 out of 10 delegates for CD1 in Denver county. From what I'm hearing, we pretty much cleaned up in most of the house districts. Also, the "Audit the Fed" resolution passed almost unanimously!
