What do you think that needs to be done after the election?
Tom Woods is asking what the Liberty Movement should do after the campaign. He is requesting ideas, comments, answers for the upcoming Libertyfest in New York.
If you have any idea that hasn't been mentioned or simply want to...
Because no establishment is omnipotent and it can be brought down. Consider the Soviet Union that was the worst system mankind has ever seen but in a manner of a couple of years at most it was all gone. No establishment can survive without consent and this is as true in a democracy as it is in...
This is a crucial question that isn't asked enough nowadays. As one of the first posters on this thread said, it is harder nowadays to pinpoint the establishment republicans because they have essentially been going into hiding since the 70's and today nobody who has serious aspirations for...
It is sad but you're completely right and I liked the way Ron set it up by first saying that he has tried the moral and the constitutional argument so now he will try to economic one.
I still think he can win points by claiming that they should declare war through congress. It also wouldn't...
Yeah I think people are making too much out of this. Obviously there is a bias against Ron Paul but I don't think the mediabias was worse in Florida than on other occasions taking everything into account.
I love Tom Wood's and this is great. All Ron Paul needs is to hire Tom to help him with answers.
However Tom has no future in politics for one simple reason; he is an anarcho capitalist. Every debate would have moderators asking whether he thinks we should have a national military and...
Great answers
Only thing I would want to add is that Ron Paul should mention this:
Of the some 15.000 economists(New York Times) in America nobody but a couple predicted the crisis. And he was one of those few who did and warned about it to congress. Than he should pull out a paper of his...
I think the Q&A is exactly the right solution to sway people. Get undecideds and others to ask the questions that are keeping them on bay. Paul is so much smarter than the other candidates and he has solutions to most of the problems but he needs to showcase that part.
Then the campaign should...
Well said.
I think it is a bit distasteful as well with all of this howling over "voters" not picking the right candidate. But I certainly understand people's frustration with the slow(relatively) change. The only thing I would be disappointed over is not beating Santorum. I want it to be...
Journalists tends to be lefties which is a more general thing about the type of people who go into similar professions. For example if you look at humanties departartments at universities they are dominated by lefties of different sorts. So partly the reason why the media has a bias towards the...
Is the twitter results really indicative of the general mood of the likely voter though? Don't Ron Paul fans generally dominate these internet polls anyway. And more specifically is the likely voters on twitter during debates like these?
Recently somebody on here, can't remember who, posted that they wrote Doug Wead on facebook about a possible change in campaign tactic from the "warn about declining liberty" to a more Reagan like "morning in America". Basically the user was arguing that Ron Paul should talk about the great...
Could you expand on that? What company is behind the Ron Paul newsletter hype and do you have proof that this company is funded by the Department of Defense.
