My precinct is in the county seat of Collin County. One of the most red, most neo-con filled areas in the country. Shoot, Diebold's headquarters are in the same city. Very generic suburban area. I showed up to the caucus expecting to be the lone voice for Paul with maybe a few others...

I live and vote in McKinney, TX. The county seat of Collin County. Also, the home office for Diebold. Collin County will use Diebold for a long time.

Wouldn't an extension of the libertarian ideal be against monopolistic / collusional companies since they become de facto governing bodies? The amount of regulation, red tape and the subsidies prevents real "free markets" in media. That is why we rail against them.

Jeff Bolton's show is not the largest talk show in the state. I am a Dallas guy and while KLIF used to be meaningful, it does not register nearly like it used. In fact, back when it was the "Mighty 1190" it was probably the most influential station in the area. Now? not so much.

Good read. Question about how his proposals to change would work in principal. I was discussing this with someone who said that the way he was going about it was unconstitutional. He is pro-life, but thought Paul's method would not work.
