I live in Elmer. Salem is one of the more conservative parts of South Jersey, and has held off pretty well against the leftist Philly refugees, who've infested Gloucester and Burlington counties. It was also one of only four counties (along with the usual suspects in NW Jersey) to go for Steve Lonegan in June's gubernatorial primary. I saw more RP signs in my neck of the woods than anywhere else in South Jersey last year.
