NV CAUCUS-GOERS: Please post your observations / live results in this thread!

Just got back from precinct number 1354 in Vegas. Paul - 8, Romney - 4, Gingrich - 0, Santorum - 0. Four of us signed up to be delegates -- all Paul supporters.

2 1/2 Minute Ron Paul Caucus Speech

I agree that you should underplay your [truthful] statements regarding Reagan. But overall, I think that your speech is excellent. I'm going to plagiarize your line tomorrow in my own speech: "I really think its a miracle that we even have this chance to fix things." +rep

Campaign must use SOPA and PIPA to get Dems/Indys and young voters out in SC!!

I support this thread. I know that RP has explicitly opposed SOPA. Does anyone have a source showing that he also specifically opposes PIPA (of course we all know he opposes it, but hopefully where he identifies it by name)? If so, Paul should be identified as one of the legislators publicly...

Paul Campaign Suing Maker of Huntsman False-Flag Video!!

The campaign might just be using the lawsuit as a way to obtain a public apology from the responsible parties as a settlement.

Iran Close to Nuclear Weapon!! Oh wait, this is a 1995 headline...

That's really a great piece of research, and +rep. We ought to find more of these to use as material for a political advertisement. Who knows how to search newspaper archives from the pre-Internet era?

The good news: at the next debate they are ALL going to be gunning for Romney

Good. And Ron should use that an opportunity to savage Gingrich and the whole rest of the crew for being warmongers. We're out of Iowa, for better or worse. Ron can afford to be even more vocal in opposition to war -- if more people come to realize that he really means it, all the better.

Iowa Caucuses Return Watching - OFFICIAL THREAD!!! (1/3/12)

Don't forget that Paul now has powerful ammunition for NH ads. Polling has indicated that New Hampshire voters are most concerned with who can beat Obama. Paul can now point to an actual election in Iowa where he dominated in votes cast from Independents (which is critical for winning the...

Iowa Caucuses Return Watching - OFFICIAL THREAD!!! (1/3/12)

BULLSHIT! Technical difficulties and they had to cut off that awesome active-duty soldier who was about to educate everyone on Ron's foreign policy! RIGHT.

    CSPAN Caucus Thread

Wow, this Jonathan Spurgin guy is really good. I hope they have him out in every other caucus state.

    CSPAN Caucus Thread

Pretty fair job for being unprepared. I don't like that he emphasized several times that "Ron Paul is a libertarian," but he did point out that we don't need to have the federal government deciding social issues.

Iowa Caucuses Return Watching - OFFICIAL THREAD!!! (1/3/12)

Yep. He sure did. And I ran out before dawn and bought a copy of that paper with that advertisement, and I've saved it as one of my favorite pieces of memorabilia from the 2007--2008 campaign. That was a great thing that llepard did.

    I just converted a neocon

That really was a great video. Just forwarded it around to a few people. Thanks for sharing, and +rep to you.

Every person I see claiming bad PFH reactions has a 2011 join date

I'm not calling right now, but I made a few dozen this morning. Out of the people I reached, most had been contacted already. One sounded like a weak voter, and was pretty brusque. At least five people asked not to be called again. On the other hand, I reached several supporters who wanted to...

Talking about Ron Paul on Wolf

I agree. But there's very little that can be done about that. If he gives four hours worth of interviews, they're going to find the most damaging 30-second clip out of them. If he had given a different answer, the headlines would be "Ron Paul Dreams Every Night of Becoming President" or some...

Talking about Ron Paul on Wolf

Heh. Wolf halfway defended us -- called Paul a non-interventionist instead of an isolationist. But they're pushing the theme that he's "leading a movement" instead of "running a campaign for the White House."
