This was brought up in the legalize drugs thread. The idea of state governments finally getting back the powers which are delegated to them by the Constitution and precedent should be very alluring. Ron Paul is the only guy interested in doing such things. Should we contact our Republican state...

I am. It'll be my first time though. Good timing for Dr. Paul. :P At any rate, it makes sense. Going straight to gold rather than using paper money that's pinned to the value of gold is probably more secure - it's less prone to later tampering.

Does Ron Paul advocate pinning the value of paper money to gold as a mean to stop inflation (but not issue actual gold currency), or does he want us to switch to using gold money?
