I'm putting a lot of energy into this board? No, not anymore. I've posted maybe 10-15 times in the last 2 weeks. I'm not looking for the perfect candidate, but I am looking for one who is honest and straightforward. Ron Paul was that man, before he lied about the newsletters.

It's nothing new. The fact is at least this much: in 1996 Ron Paul and campaign took ownership for Paul having written the newsletters and even tried to defend them, saying they were taken out of context. Then in 2001 RP said he didn't write them, at least not the nasty stuff. And in 2008...

Umm...why are people donating to a recount effort when a recount is already being done and paid for by another campaign?

Wow, some of these predictions are ridiculously optimistic. Especially after what's happened so far in NH and IA. I would bet he sticks around 10% in nearly every state.

I asked the same questions, still no answers. So now we have RP and the campaign, at best, lying about the fact that he was totally unaware of some of the nasty things in his newsletters.

That's great, for those who thought he actually wrote them. I, for one, am 99.9999% sure he didn't, but that doesn't go far enough. I want the campaign to find out who did (though, I think they already know) and then publicly announce this person/s will no longer be involved with the campaign...
