The just adjourned the meeting. I did not see Ron Paul ask any questions. What happened?? Why was he not allowed to ask questions??

Buy silver the cheapest you can find it. Don't pay premium for maples or silver eagles. Get the most recognized generic round... the indian/buffalo. If you are buying less than 500 oz get from here and pay with check: (0.89c over spot best deal)...

    China relaxes currency peg

THIS IS HUGE NEWS!!! I am astounded that there is virtually no coverage on this next step towards dollar loosing its reserve status. These little things are starting to add up to a large mural on the wall of coming inflation and much higher interest rates.

    China relaxes currency peg

(Financial Times) -- China expanded the daily trading range that its currency can fluctuate against the US dollar on Saturday in an important step towards allowing the Rmb to eventually float freely. The People's Bank of China, the country's central bank, announced that starting on Monday the...

FED: FED bought a stunning 61% of all net US government debt issuance in 2011

The above poster is correct the FED uses surrogates to buy the debt directly. A good portion of the private buyers (surrogates) then turn around and quickly sell to the FED. How much is hard to tell because of the lack of transparency in the process. With the negative "real rates".. Who...

FED: FED bought a stunning 61% of all net US government debt issuance in 2011

Thats the 64 Trillion dollar question. How long do we have??!! Nobody knows. But us Austrians correctly predicted the stock and housing bubbles but it has been difficult to determine timing. All we can say is that it WILL happen. The one thing that you can count on is that it will be...

FED: FED bought a stunning 61% of all net US government debt issuance in 2011

These things can happen quick and suddenly, when it breaks. And look so serine beforehand. Even if it is common knowledge, people can stay complacent because others are not acting. If all my money is in bonds right now (and many are forced to be in them) I would be very close to the exit...

FED: FED bought a stunning 61% of all net US government debt issuance in 2011

I think when its common knowledge that only the FED is buying the debt you will start to see the $$ drop like a rock. The FED will have to choose to save the $$ or keep its ZIRP. This may happen by the end of the year IMHO. And by then it may be too late. Next step would be to seize 401k...

FED: FED bought a stunning 61% of all net US government debt issuance in 2011

Yes you are probably right. This article states that the balance sheet of the fed would need to expand another 2 Trillion to keep ZIRP till 2014. I think that number is small because only the FED will be buying soon. http://www.safehaven.com/article/24297/the-fed-resumes-printing

Good article on the loss of Liberties

"First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for me and there...

Important to Write in Ron Paul instead of NOBP in General

If paul is not the nominee then the NOBP policy should allways be a write in policy. I think the establishment needs to see how many voters they lost. I would suggest (if possible) to always write in his name instead of not voting. It will give more voice to the movement.

FED: New Bill takes aim at FED

I think its a good bill too. At least some people are waking up. i would like them to legislate a target rate of 0.0% instead of the 2.0% they currently have as well.

FED: New Bill takes aim at FED

http://www.nasdaq.com/article/texas-lawmaker-to-introduce-bill-changing-feds-mandate-20120223-01849 WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Another Texas politician is taking aim at the Federal Reserve. Unlike fellow Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul, however, Rep. Kevin Brady isn't calling for an end to the...

I think a lot of people that will vote on super Tuesday probably just started thinking about the candidates. Ron Paul did well last night, hopefully he will get some support from fresh electorate?
