You are correct. I've amended my first paragraph to correct my error about the presidential candidate on the ballot, and to clarify the election of delegates. Btw, Brandon, you look quite respectable on the sample ballot. :) . . Edit: Added the verb I left out, "look."

It doesn't matter who the presidential candidates are on the ballot -- that is a beauty show and doesn't count toward the nominating process. Only the delegate elections count toward selecting the party's presidential nominee. A voter is expected to know which delegate candidates represents...
