The biggest issue that i can see is the fact that no matter how hard we campaign, none of it will matter if the current method used to count votes remains the same.

The actual method used to verify the accuracy of the count is the easy part. I'm sure a few hours searching google would turn up many good ideas. But in order to actually see these changes implemented, what would we need to do? ie) get a petition going?

I'm sure that a handful of iron workers will get lots of overtime painting that bridge, but the rest of us are screwed.

But we now have the internet, so truths are revealed much faster than before.

We need to include a fail safe in the way votes are counted. Does anyone know what steps are needed to get this done?
