While my site is not a faucet per-say it does enable anybody to earn Bitcoin through their web traffic such as that generated from blogging. It is available as a Wordpress plugin and a PHP script (for those already with a website) and as a free blog on any of a multiple Wordpress "Multi-User"...
Ben Lawsky: New York Can’t Risk Getting Bitcoin Regulation WrongThe New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) announced today it would extend the comment period for its proposed bitcoin regulations by 45 days, citing significant public interest in the rules as a key reason behind the...
You got the idea. He built it so we could put our own variables in to give us some perspective on who and what moves the market.
There are two big ones I see that are not included. One is as a use as a tax haven. Once those that have their funds in off shore banks decide Bitcoin is a safe place...
With the deadline for comments of the New York proposals fast approaching I just found out how stinking easy it is to sidestep just about anything they do about Bitcoin.
I was listening to a show about Bitcoin (http://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/post/lets-talk-bitcoin-136-the-head-or-the-horse-1)...
I store mine at the Federal Reserve Bank, next to Germany's gold. Funny thing, when I asked to have them back they said it will take seven years! Only good thing about that is that they'll be worth a fortune then! :-)
Actually Bitcoin is back by one incredibly massive amount of computing power. It is difficult (but not impossible) for an "alt coin" to meet that level of security. It would be kewl to get Walmart's stuff even after Wally coin got hacked though (unlike what happened when Target got hacked).
You can't be serious? Banks have to keep less than 5% in reserve! Compared to the 100% that they are making Bitcoin companies maintain the bank's "reserves" don't amount to any more than a dry bean fart.
In this article by the NY Times it brings up some serious issues with their proposed regulations and it is important top find out who is behind the gross inaccuracies and whether this statement is attributable to Mr Lawsky or not ...
Anyone one in Mr Lawsky's position certainly knows that...
Looking at the demographics of the typical Bitcoin user (young adult, intelligent tech saavy males) a country would have to be complete idiots to piss that age group off by banning Bitcoin. That is the age group that fuels revolutions and topples governments. China better watch their backs with...
Where were the armored cars and guards? I must have missed them somehow? I mean, after all, they moved about 17 million Federal Reserve Notes worth of Bitcoin (that's alot of moolah) and you just don't do that without armored cars and guards and attack dogs and police escorts etc right? :-)

I think it is the absolute best way to store Bitcoin except for that day to day amount you want immediately available. I use...
