Libertarians and Communists share the same fatal flaw

I respect that angle. It's that I've watched too many friends spin their wheels <including some very active people in the LRP> to no end. I try to give my advice to younger people that activism is all good and well. But anymore it does nothing more than make you a target, for either a database...

Libertarians and Communists share the same fatal flaw

I've merely stated the facts. The Juggernaut of Gov't will keep on doing what it does, no matter how many Appleseeds or Tea-Baggers there are. If I were in your position, I'd spend every minute and dollar available, reconstituting the family farm as a redoubt. Because it's coming, and there's no...

Libertarians and Communists share the same fatal flaw

Why would I do that? I've lived the life of a "Libertarian" all my life. The Libertarian "movement" is personified by "crazy" guys that paint whole sheets of plywood with messages and put them in their yards. And by kids who post whole manifestos as a reply to "set the record straight about...

Libertarians and Communists share the same fatal flaw

In scrolling down the first page of responses, I see where the original poster is correct. The Libertarian movement is personified by persons whom the general public view as laughable.

    Alex Jones is hilarious!

I still listen most days, and it's become an eye-roller for me every time he talks of his real life "encounters" that never really happen.

Well, considering that these children can only view Ron Paul as a novelty item, the debate is almost useless from the get-go. For, if they have no recollection of how common-place the Ron Paul mindset used to be, they have no idea how impossible it is to have it return. Messing with "liberty"...

    Alex Jones is hilarious!

Oddly, as an adult who remembers 8-track tapes and NO internet, it's interesting to see that a part of taking the debate "back from the children" runs the risk of a "mod" or "admin" admonishing you.

    How "would" you live free?

If members of your family are like you, I'm sure the land isn't being un-used in some fashion. When the time comes, the Booger's will have to bolt. But at least we have a couple of options of bolt-holes to bolt to. Plus we are looking at some property situations at present.

    Alex Jones is hilarious!

How many people on a forum like this are kids who are really just into it as a counter-culture thing to do? How many have ever had to scrape to keep the lights turned on or food in their gullet?

    Alex Jones is hilarious!

Too true. I've followed the same path. Stopped my membership on the .tv site, as I don't need to see any more of his videos, and I don't wish to encourage his current course of action with my monetary support. As for now, I encourage like minded people to stock up, and to let me know when...

    How "would" you live free?

It's much more dangerous to do now, but if one were around say, in the mid-80's, one could supply little squares of paper, for a modest handling fee, to people who wished to put them upon their tongues.

    How "would" you live free?

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. It seems that things like the Screen Printing industry aren't sufferering a shortage of work recently and I've been swamped. So, is the property still held by the family?

    Alex Jones is hilarious!

A'yup. A few years ago, I tried tirelessly to get my wife <we're both in our mid 40's, and not kids anymore> to listen to Alex. Even back then, when he was less a parody of himself, he grated on her nerves after only a few minutes. But now, he has become a STAR and must fufill the wishes of the...

Missouri: Free AK-47 Comes With Purchase of Truck

Also consider that any self-respecting posessor of a dick wouldn't bother reading the instructions anyway.

Cries of reverse discrimination show U.S. isn't 'post-racial' (Kansas City Star)

KC is a great place to see how human race reality plays out. It always has been and it always will be. It's us and them, 3 way. Black, white, hispanic. There is a bit of mingling, but more to do with socio economic situations than color "blindness".
