I haven't been too involved in setting the canvassing strategy, but it does make sense to me. There is a huge percentage of registered Independents out here. A large percentage of those like Paul, even if they typically lean left. So we're focussing these first few weeks on them, to make sure...
We'll be canvassing in the 52nd along the coast & Coronado. But there is an active meetup group up in North County. There are usually meetings in Fallbrook & San Marcos. The best idea is to join the meetup to stay up to speed on what's going on up there:

Just a little more detail, we intend to have these with us when we're going door to door in our precincts. The idea is to use it as a tool during our brief discussions w/ people, and then offer to leave it with them if they seem interested. So if someone says they like Grinch for instance, we...
I was wondering that myself. I have to dive in to that analysis to better understand. I didn't want to tweak their #'s though, as it truly does seem to be the most reliable, independant analysis of the various plans.
California is in for a protracted battle to win delegates by June 5th. There is a lot of support for Ron Paul in Southern California. I can personally confirm that the strength of support in San Diego has increased substantially from four years ago. There's been tons of honking and thumbs-up...
All this F'ing work wasn't just about winning this damned election. It was about furthering the cause of liberty. It was about getting freedom candidates elected at all levels of politics, from GOP central committees to congress.
Ron Paul was just a vehicle for so many of these political...
Um, what am I missing???? The WA caucus is at 10am. This Huckapalooza thing is at 8pm. What good is staying in WA all day going to do???
This seems like a HORRIBLE misstep by the campaign IMHO. Having the 3 other guys minus Ron during a national broadcast looks terrible...like he really did...
Our meetup could use a lot of yard signs when we start hitting the pavement canvassing. Seems a waste to trash the ones used in states that have voted already. If someone could round up a good stockpile, I'd pay to have them shipped to San Diego.
Great job! We've been bombing areas of San Diego w/ 8' tyvek banners for over a month now. They've actually attracted people to our meetup group. At $3 per banner, they're fairly effective.
LA and OC are huge. Has the campaign up there organized which congressional districts to focus the...
I just posted a thread in the "Opposing Candidates" section with a fairly professional looking flier our meetup group did comparing the candidates. All the file links are there

We plan to...
Our meetup site has refined and perfected a handout camparing the 4 remaining candidates. I must say, this came out very professional, and we're getting a lot of great feedback from the people we hand these out to. Check it out:

We're having thousands of these...
