Both McCain's and Thompson's comments were racist.

No, Hume confused Dr. Paul by his loud and idiotic claim, acting like Dr. Paul did not answer the "right" question. Then Dr. Paul thought perhaps he did not hear "right". I watched the whole thing and Dr. Paul answered the question in context, and perfectly well.

It looks REALLY bad. Seems to me like Dr. Paul or someone in his campaign could try to trace the newsletters or SOMETHING. At least act like they care enough about the issue to TRY. It came across to me like they don't really care, and I know that's not true. But, that is how people will take it.

Dr. Paul answered appropriately. Britt Hume is the idiot and I think that should be made known far and wide.
